Salt City Center for the Performing Arts Executive Director, Joseph N. Lotito, announces that the eighth annual production of A DICKENS OF A CHRISTMAS will open on Friday, November 23 and will run through Sunday, December 16. This wonderful adaptation of Charles Dickens' Christmas classic, A Christmas Carol features a brilliant and original musical score by noted Syracuse composer/playwright Pat Lotito and New York City's Ken Prescott. Together, they have created a beautiful holiday treat for the entire family. Bill Molesky returns to his starring role of Ebenezer Scrooge. Other returning leads are Joseph N. Lotito as Marley, Robert (Tank) Steingraber as Christmas Present, James D. Meech as young Scrooge, Matthew Dillon as Tiny Tim, Jodie Baum as Emily Cratchit and Christine Ann Holajter as Belle. We welcome Tamaralee Spadafore in the role of Christmas Present, Corey Ranallo as Christmas Future, Kevin Surrette as Bob Cratchit, Fred Houser as Dick Wilkins, Andrew Pollock as Young Ebeneezer, Maria Lostumbo as Fan, Chuck Elliott and Carol Christiansen as Mr. and Mrs. Fezziwig, Erica Dutelle as Bess and Stephfond Brunson as Fred. The Cratchit children are Kyle Jones as Peter, Noel Beebe as Martha, Amanda Tousaw as Belinda and Nicole Attaie as Katie. Wassailers are Stephfond Brunson, Del Caraway, Nicole DeVaul, Erica Dutelle, Brian Moe, Corey Ranallo and Jessica Skipper. A DICKENS OF A CHRISTMAS lights up the stage with excitement and non-stop energy under the direction of James D. Meech with Musical Direction by Pat Lotito and choreography by Jennifer Fricano. Couple elegant costumes and an innovative rotating set with our talented cast of performers and you truly have a Broadway-type holiday extravaganza. Performances will be held on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:15 and on Sundays at 2:00. A Saturday matinee will be held on December 1 at 2:00. Special 10:00 a.m. weekday school performances will be held on December 6 and 14 with additional dates added as necessary.
